The garden hosts more than 20,000 varieties of roses. The garden has received the Garden of Excellence Awards for the best rose garden in South Asia. The Rose-garden features a rose variety named after the chief minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa. Garden opens its gate from 7:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

    Sim Park is situated in Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. The garden is spread over 12 hectares of natural undulating land. The Sim Park was established in the year of 1874 by J.D Sim and Major Murray. The park holds fruit and vegetables show every year. The Sim Park holds more than 1000 species of plants. The park is open all days in a week from morning 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The entry fee in a park is 30 and 15 rupees for adults and children respectively.

    The Emerald Lake is a gem among the Nilgiri Range. The lake is situated 25 kilometres away from town Ooty. The emerald lake lies in a part of the silent valley. The lake is a perfect viewpoint to experience the green surrounding, blue sky, chirping birds. The lake is also blessed with natural tea plantation. The beautiful place is perfect to spend a refreshing and relaxing day enjoying with a cup of tea.

    Doddabetta is situated in Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu in South India. It is fourth highest peak in South India. The peak is a part of Nilgiri range. Doddabetta is at height of 2,637 meters. The peak has a telescope house at top with two installed telescope for public view, opened on 18 June 1983. The peak is famous for view of Ooty from Doddabetta.
